Maison & Objet Interior

Hong Kong (2025)

An exclusive showcase of Le Gall's iconic creations, reimagined within a traditional Chinese courtyard.

Presented within a booth conceived by Alfred Lam of Studio 1618, Hubert Le Gall’s works were situated in an installation that reimagined the traditional Beijing siheyuan courtyard home through a distinctly Parisian lens. Organised around a serene central garden, the space unfolded into five intimate zones — living, dining, lounge, reading, and garden — each conceived as its own narrative environment.

Within these “rooms,” Le Gall’s sculptural furniture and objects appeared as natural inhabitants rather than displayed works. Bronze, wood, and glass forms blended seamlessly into a setting rich with tactile contrasts, unexpected decorative gestures, and art-forward accents. The installation encouraged visitors to move through the space as if wandering through a lived interior, discovering each piece as part of an unfolding story.
